| cheap n tasty pizza
This is a nice alternative to the pizza hut pizzas.
They're simple but tasty. A bit of patience needed whilst they rustle it up, but the wait is totally worth it.
I usually go for the minced beef . The crust is thin but not too thin until nothing doughy to chew. It comes out piping hot with oodles of stringy mozerella.
The proscuitto / rocket pizza is quite a nice combi but difficult to manouver on utensils. The veggie is kinda separated from the pizza.
Have also tried the tomato (?) calzone. A very hearty snack. |

| la beefylilious!!!
Great meal to make up for all the ruin makan plans for today.
Couldn't ride out to pasirpanjang for that HGW recommended pasta cafe along Manhill restaurant due to the afternoon rain, and then again, couldn't ride out to Colbar for simple dinner due to evening rain!!! Arggghh...a hungry man is a angry man! Then I saw La Pizzaiola flyer on my desk! Heck! will just order pizza for dinner , I declared to myself.
Put in the order for 1 whole 12" Minced beef pizza $14.90, and 1 tiramisu (need a B"cake today as I did not have 1 yesterday) $3.90, Total Bill = $21.80 ( $3 delivery charges???). Was told to wait for an hour, but pizza came in 35mins.
The yummy stuffs:
Pizza was pipping hot, lots of beef and tomato sauce under the thin blanket of cheese = hotty yummy beefy drippy pizzy...slurpy!!!!
Wow! the taste was beefy strong and just the right amount of herbs on top of the cheese. Really statisfied the food urge after such a food dissapointing day.
Hmmm...being a take away meal, the under crust is soft as its been sitting in the hot box, but I'm pretty sure if its eaten in the shop it will be crusty hotty yummy beefy drippy pizzy.
Tiramisu was up to standard. lots of creamy mascarpone, generous topping of cocoa powder and the texture smooth. However, i prefer my tiramisu on the rough side ,more home made type??? I used to eat my tiramisu from a family run italian restaurant in Australia, and i love that kind of tiramisu, I think theirs have more of the biscotti biscuits in it to provide more texture.
Overall a very statisfying meal!!! Hmmm....while eating i tried to stop myself to take photos but it was just too yummy and my hands were just too messy. So if you wanna see it go get it! hahahaha... |

| Pizza
Came across this place accidentally while I was around Holland area. Very easy to find, it's just along the stretch of shops/banks (DBS and POSB).
Was not very hungry, so only tried the minced beef pizza. At $4 a slice, approx 15 x 15cm, I think it's quite worth it. It's filled 100% of the crust with beef and cheese. Noticed that they have set meals, $5 for a piece of pizza and choice of soft drink too.
The place is non-airconditioned, so felt quite hot inside. Think it's because of the oven. Unless it's cool outside, I think I will take-away my food.
The lady there is quite kind. I requested for her to cut my slice of pizza into quarters and she obliged with a smile :)
Will go back to try their other stuff on the menu soon.. |
