Always awesome.

Food is always amazing. The lots breakkie is really worthwhile for the big eater. The bread is one of the best I've ever had. The location isn't the best, however it is a nice change from all the buzzing hipster cafes that other people like to frequent. This is for comfort, quality food.

Dinner at Lots Gourmet Stop

This is a very "average" place - warm ambience due to lack of aircon (but I believe they were doing a replicate of an authentic American cafe concept), average service and average food. Location is a little hard to get there as well, unless you are staying in the East.

Foodwise, we had the Fish & Chips and Melts (similar to pizzas), which were tasty in an average way - simply like what you would eat at any western restaurant so the impression is not too remarkable.

Drop by IF (and only if) you're in Changi

Coming by car is not exactly a bad idea, but it's not the best idea as getting a parking lot sure is not easy. The place is located just beside a private (house) estate, and we had to park along the road within the estate. We came on a Saturday morning at 10am and were lucky to spot an empty spot once we made a left turn from the main road.

And from the menu, we ordered:-

1) The LOTS English brekkie, $14 - Comprising of egg, streaky bacon, pork sausage, grilled tomato, sauteed mushroom, baked bean with and toast. The serving was huge.

2) Benedict (smoked salmon), $12.50 - Available on weekend only. There were 3 options to choose from. Ham ($11.50), smoked salmon ($12.50) or portobello ($12.50,) served on ciabatta. I was disappointed with the poached eggs. 1 of the 2 already had its yolk oozing out upon served, which made me wondered if I was given extra hollandaise sauce to cover up the chef's mistake.

3) Pancake (blueberry), $9 - This was not too bad. The pancakes were moist and slightly stick to the top of my mouth, just as how I prefer my pancakes to be. Actual blueberries were used too. Though I did realise the batter was not cooked properly at where the blueberries were placed.

I don't think it's worth a special trip to Changi for the food or dining experience. However, if you are in Changi and craving for a café experience, I will then recommend Lots Gourmet Shop.

Good chill-out place for a lazy afternoon.

Good place to read a book or have a good catch-up with your friends. Given its location, the place is relatively quieter compared to the busy buzzing Singaporean lifestyle. Even without a car, the place is accessible with a quick bus ride from Tampines Interchange.

Best impression of the place was its service. Service quality is top-notch for a place like this.

Their egg benedict is worth a try as well but they are available only during the weekends. I heard their fish and chips is good as well but I have yet to give it a try.

Love this place!

Parking is always easy. Never too crowded & food is great (though I hope to go to their air-conditioned room). You should try the grilled squid salad & the steak. Try some of their beers too - I tried Hobgoblin - not bad.
