great Vietnamese food

The food is really good, especially loved the sweet potato chicken curry and my friend had the signature Beef Pho. the soup was amazing and the beef was fresh, and we paired our meal with very refreshing plum soda. Manager was friendly and knowledgable about most of the extensive menu and recommended us some very tasty items such as the sugar cane prawns.

Thats my favourite dish..(Betel Leaves Skewers) very Authentic. My next visit and im gonna try the Hot Pot Fish & Stir-fried Beef Vermicelli and Vietnamese Pancake. Been seeing other diners table had it.. its look so superlicious to me and my friend.Working staff was friendly enough to brighten up our day.Saw some bad reviews of the resto about the service & foods..but is not truth..once u try out u will know what im saying. So is worth to try and visit more often. And we end up with 3color iced (Vietnamese Chendol) thats really fullfilled our dinner.. we will be back soon Madam Saigon. Good Authentic Vietnamese Taste

I am a loyal patron of Madam Saigon (MS) and have been dining there regularly for 4-5 years each time I am in Singapore (2-3 times a year). They used to have another outlet at Liang Seah Street at Bugis before that area is over run by the steam boat operators.   I come to realise that I had taken the good tastes and service of MS for granted all these years of patronage by not doing a review on it. Hence my attempt to do a review on it here.   It’s a well established Vietnamese cuisine restaurant. I think they have been trading for about 10 years. There are 40 to 50 choices on its menus.  The ones that I’ve ordered and tasted over the years are consistently rich and authentic in Vietnamese flavours unlike those served by some of its competitions which have recently sprung up around town in the last couple of years. I had tried them but keep coming back to MS for the authenticity if it’s Vietnamese flavours that I want.   My personal favourites are from its menus are: Sliced beef noodle soup, MS sampler tray and Vietnamese pancake.   The quality of its foods is matched by the consistently good service provided by a team of staffs led by a young manager. His youthful look belies his experienced and professionalism.    I thank MS for its contribution to my gastronomic pleasures.   jayesoh Sydney Australia
