First time as a guest, I'm typing this out as I'm having my super heavy supper here at Mak's Place. We got here at 1245am, just in time for last orders. We had Crispy Baby Squid, Butter Prawn, Sweet & Sour Seabass and Salted Egg Crab (THE BEST! MUST TRY!) We ordered all in small sizes but the quantity per-dish is more than enough for 2 pax = value for money. They were already closing when our food was served. The boss came up to us personally and said, "Please take your time to enjoy your meal, don't let them (the staff who are doing closing) intimedate you..." looking at my other half he said, "I've been observing her and I can see that she's having a hard time swallowing her rice..." as I was already choking on my rice watching them clearing up tables & chairs (thinking they're all tired and that we're keeping them from going home to have their rests; because I come from the same industry and I know how it feels). I just laughed while still trying to swallow my rice. He said again, "Please, enjoy your meal" We thanked him for being very understanding. After slowly finishing our meal, we got them to pack our Baby Squid & Butter Squid as it was too much for us to finish. The lady boss had a chat with us awhile after our meal and before they head off, they again told us to take our time to finish our drinks. They left, we bid farewell. We spent a total of $70. With the awesome meal that we had, it was very much worth every single cent. We will definitely be back. Thank you dear bosses, for the kind & warm hospitality.
