Finale Party

The pop out bar is located at the lobby of the hotel. Today is the last day of its operation at this location. To celebrate its end of operation, the bar is offering $78 per person with free flow of food and drinks from 8pm onwards. There is 3 different stations : one offering wines and beers, one offering the bar's well-known list of cocktails, and the original bar counter offering bespoke cocktails. There is staffs around offering baskets of finger food.
Since the bar is well-known for its cocktails, we head straight to the cocktail station. The queue is long with 2 female bartenders doing their best to handle the orders.
 The 'Jumbo' Cocktail ($22)
The fiery remake of the already Bloody Mary. A drink reserved for the weathered and seasoned.
Tanquery Gin, Celery Bitters, Green Charteruse, Salt, Fish Sauce, Cherry Tomatoes, Calamansi, Chilli Crab Paste, Egg White
 Alcohol Strength : XX
 Level of Adventure : XX
It is an alcoholic version of chilli crab sauce. Strong and choking. Not quite my cup of drink.

 Pi Pa Brew ($23)
Its personal spin on Grandma's miraculous cure all. After all, the best way to 'cure' a hangover is to stay drunk!
D.O.M., Tanquery Gin, PiPa Gao, Red Dates, Goji Berries, Chrysanthemum, Osmanthus Flower, Lemon Zest
 Alcohol Strength : XXX
 Level of Adventure : X
This drink needs to wait at least 10 minutes. Firstly the bartender needs to brew the herbal. Then served in a teapot with a Lipton tea bag in it. The first taste is like drinking the usual pipa gao (a Chinese herbal cough syrup) in hot version, but soon one can feel the heat of D.O.M right inside. Strong and shiok drink.

Mars bar can be found hidden in the Duxton Hotel lobby. You can expect really good ambience and awesome cocktails that you never knew exist. The bartenders here are really sociable and they make you feel really welcomed and comfortable.
The environment gives a relaxing feel with the old-fashioned interior design and comfy sofa seats.
The cocktails are really good and the bartenders are able to craft really good drinks to cater to your palate!
A totally must-visit place to go when you want to just chill and hang out with your friends!

P.s.: Did I also mention that they provide event bartending services?
