Our group of 20 colleagues and business associates enjoyed the comfy and stylish indoor setting as well as the laid back smoking and/or non-smoking outdoor area throughout a truly entertaining evening of gourmet food, cocktails, gossips and good laughs while the prompt service crew anticipated our needs.

Close to the East Coast, nestled in the trendy Siglap enclave, Mezza is reputed to be one of the coolest venues in the area.
My companion and I arrived over an unusually overcast Singaporean afternoon.
The waitress, friendly and efficient, showed us immediately to a lovely indoor table in the aircon.
Within a minute we were served ice water even prior to browsing Mezza's extensive Mediterranean menu.
We discussed the food menu along with the polite and attentive waitress whose knowledge of the ingredients used in the preparation of Mezza's main courses was truly remarkable.While enjoying our food, we noticed several friends and colleagues enjoying a laid back Mediterranean-style late lunch over chilled drinks and snacks, laptops on table and smiles on faces. Mezza's free wi-fi service is excellent, of course. The profusion of discerning island residents frequenting this restaurant is testament to Mezza’s quality and beauty.
Plenty of staff bustled around, attending to every need. It was good to see that this restaurant does not scrimp on staff, unlike many restaurants that employ the bare minimum. You can often see these poor souls, literally running around desperately trying to do 10 things at once in between a stressed-out manager and bored-of-waiting clients. No such thing here at Mezza: Think fast and professional, front to back and top to bottom.
It’s easy to heap praise on special-occasion restaurants that pamper and impress us. And we love discovering a place that’s cheap, yet makes craveable food. But the depth and breadth of Singapore’s restaurant scene is best judged by the quality of our everyday bistros, our corner eateries, the places we frequent so often we sometimes don’t give them quite enough thought. Mezza Restaurant & Bar along the Upper East Coast is a perfect example; every dish sounds (and, you later find, tastes) so good on the concise Western menu, the service is expert and easy to engage, the venue is stilish, comfortable and superbly lit and the price points are in that sweet spot where the food served is worth every penny you paid.
One evening my four guests and I, we treated ourselves to Mezza's premium quality tenderloin steak. A few days later at lunch we happily lost ourselves in a delightful seafood risotto followed by a gorgeous lamb rack.
Kudos to the culinary team!
In the afternoons, every now and then, we love to indulge in Mezza's signature cocktails: perfectly concocted thirst-quenchers such as "Mezza's Mojito" and "Safe s** on the Beach", Mezza's very popular and most luscious mocktail!
Last week my eight guests and I, we booked this cosy and quaint European restaurant located along Upper East Coast and truly enjoyed our evening: wonderful food & drinks deals.
$35 for a scrumptious three-course dinner including as a main course the juicy and tender braised pork belly served on a bed of spinach and roasted potatoes.
