Singapore food is just awesome and The Naj Restaurant serves it up in a bustling way in peak hour or quietly in the early hours.
It has everything I cannot get at home...great food no matter what shift I was working and at the one bargain price... I have taken all my friends here when they visit Singapore and they all love it.

Just seen my thumb photo - are you lot at HungryGoWhere.com saying I'm a fat-boy? Nice...I would be that fat if I stayed in SG near the Naj for too many weeks...
    Must Tries

Roti Chani anytime of day or night

  2. Yet another disappointing prata place...

    Aug 16, 2007

16 August 2007 : I woke up real early and got out of the house to get to the sweat shop. I decided to stop here to get food so that I have energy to work hard at the sweat shop.

I ordered the usual : 1 prata kosong, 1 egg prata & teh tarik ($2.30)

The prata kosong and egg prata were totally unexciting. They were not
crispy, light and fluffy. Instead, they were cool and rubbery. The Teh
tarik was nice (piping hot and not too sweet).

I guess I shall not return to this place.... I shall continue to try other prata places...hopefully I will find a good prata place which serves crispy, light and fluffy prata

      JC,
Rubbery Prata means you don't know the place...stop shopping round and stick with the one place for a while and get to know it (they will even get to know you!). All shops sell reheated Prata at some time of the day - trick is to know when they will be fresh...

I hope you find you dream...
