quality is gone

Victims of their success they've lower the quality with chewy meat and replaced the fresh spring roll on their set lunch with cheap ugly salad. It's a matter of time until people will avoid this place after it started so promising. Good has really become bad and the service sucks. You must be lucky to get the things you ordered and on time.

nice place for quick meal

a nice place for a quick meal. aroma and taste of the hot coffee with condensed milk are to my preference, served with a cute retro-looked cup. breakfast and lunch set priced at 5.90 and 9.90 are must try, in a just nice portion and reasonable price.

Disastrous Pho

This place is one of the worst Vietnamese food place I have ever had - way too far from being authentic. Ordered the sliced beef pho - the beef slices were thick, there were basically no basic ingredients in this dish apart from the pho itself - no mint leaves, no bean sprouts, soup was not flavoursome at all. Asked for some cut chillies to make it taste a tad better, however, you need to pay additional for extra condiments. No value for money, definitely my first and last visit !

Decent Pho

NamNam Noodle Bar is one of the more popular Pho joiunts around town, and the one at Raffles City always has a crowd around lunch time or dinner. NamNam is a pretty decent place to have a casual meal, and the price is quite reasonable, but don't really expect too much from the Pho though. It's ok, but not that great. Ok if you just want a quick, casual meal.

Beef Pho was the worst.

I already had an early dinner and was just looking around Suntec for a light soupy meal. Happened to come across Nam Nam. Looks like an awesome restaurant and decided to give the Pho (Beef noodle) a try.

This is the worst bowl of noodles I had this year. Beef not tender and tasteless but heavily marinated with salt. The worst is the over usage of salt in the soup too. Even the rice noodles was saltish. It is too excessive. $10 seems like a worthwhile meal but I would not pay a cent to ruin body. You can harldy taste the beef in the soup. If you cannot even made a decent bowl of Vietnamese beef noodle, I pretty doubt any of your other Vietnamese food and drinks.

For $7 you'd at least expect the bread to be fresh

I first tried the Bahn mi here a few years back, and thought it was pretty good, but over the last year this place has really dropped its standard. Ive heard it said that a Bahn Mi is possibly the perfect example of fusion food, with a crusty fresh french bagette filled with delicious vietnamese pork, and when done well its really quite amazing. So if the bagette is the star of the show then why does Nam Nam insist on serving up day old stale bread. I ordered a take away bahn mi and stood there and watched the staff make it, and the first thing i noticed was the lack of crumbs go flying when the bagette was cut (this should occur when the bread is crusty and fresh), and once the roll was filled they put it under the counter out of sight for a few minutes, obviously this is where they keep the microwave, so it could be heated up and the bread softened. Serving up day old bread is just not acceptable, especially when they charge $6.90 for it. Wont be hurrying back
