This self-service joint specialises in Taiwanese bubble tea, as its name suggests. It has also developed a menu of Taiwanese and local Chinese fare to go with the drinks.

A really horrible experience, never going again.
17 Jun 2012Stepped in the "restaurant", after 3minutes we settled down, one of the waitress came and ask for order immediately. Not only once, she came back pestering and asking us to be quick for i don't know what reason. After we ordered, the waiting food time was about half an freaking hour. Their service was really slow and the food was average. When the food came, one of their waitress still spill over our fried chicken. Really a bad service. After that, almost all our food came except for our shrimp omelette egg. So we ate and when we almost finished our meal, then the egg came. Which restaurant serves food only after we finished our meal?!? I'm really pissed about that. And when the waitress came serving, we told her that our meal is finished so we won't want the egg anymore. She smiled and walked away and gave her colleagues funny faces to us. Not only that, she purposely speaked loudly about us to her "boss" and her boss said something bad about us too. I was really pissed about that. A bad service, bad waitresses, bad ambience, bad waiting time, average and overpriced food. Never willing to go for the 2nd time.

Poor Quality Food, Drinks & Service - Totally Not Worth the Money
29 Dec 2009Had a horrible experience at their new Century Square branch. Everywhere else was closing, but we were so tired and hungry, and it was the only one opened, so we decided to give it a try.
We ordered the "yan su ji mee sua" - salted chicken with noodle soup, salad you tiao, honeydew milk tea and hot pearl milk tea.
The salted chicken and salad you tiao, came out oily and soggy. The soup was extremely salty. The honeydew milk tea that cost $7.00, tasted like Sweet Talk standard. My pearl milk tea was worse, it was even blander than normal kopitiam milk tea. It was like water with a tinge of milk and tea. And all these substandard food cost $28.
We were the only ones in the shop, with another table occupied by the bosses, as I later found out from the waitress that provided horrible service.
I had given her feedback about the quality of the food, and her response was just, "No, all our food are fresh. They just don't suit your taste."
Honestly, I was so reluctant to pay. I just felt like thrashing their signboard. How could they open a shop with such lousy food and try to charge ppl so much for them. I have visited Taiwanese Bubble Tea shops for the last ten years of my life and used to frequent them. This is definitely not the kind of standard for a cup of bubble tea that costs at least $4!
