As a pioneer of bringing Italian cuisine to Singapore, Pasta Fresca has its own factory at the Pandan Loop head office where pastas, sauces and ingredients are made fresh daily. Besides producing for its own use, it also caters to major F & B outlets and other related businesses.

Always Hearty!

I personally feel the Pasta Fresca, especially the Bukit Timah branch has the best pasta in town, and no one can beat the value the Pasta Fresca gives. It's better than most Italian restaurants that are more expensive in town! And it is always consistent. My boyfriend brought me here once and he won my heart through my stomach. This time, with a friend, we ordered the parma ham and the bolognese pasta (although my usual favourites are the lasagne and carbonara), it did not fail to disappoint. Warmed my heart and my tummy. Plus, service is always prompt and good. The owner Salvotore will often be there to check with you if the food was ok. With such personal attention, always good quality expected. We ordered Cannelloni Di Magro, Crespelle Al Funghi, Filetto Di Salmone and Prosciutto E Funghi with extra pineapple toppings.

Cannelloni and Crespelle came looking nowhere from the pics on the menu, totally a turn off. The taste did not save the day either.  Filetto was overdone b very dry. The extra pineapple toppings were miserably few, yet cost $3.20.

Chairs n tables were placed back to back, hardly any privacy and space to move.

Haha still can remember their advert on tv a long time ago..

Anyways..

Decided to try this place out when my buddy had a sudden craving for pasta. No regrets.

There is an outdoor and indoor (air-con) environment so that you can be choosy about your ambient temperature. I prefer the non-aircon environment tho, coz the aircon one seems a little bit cramped. Designed with simple Italian elegance.

Being of a higher-end restaurent, the prices in this establishment is above average. However, what you get is a superior selection of ingredients. There's a whole page devoted to the different type of fresh pastas (no instants here) you can choose with your selected cooking style. Customisable pizzas are served on a traditional Italian crust and are a treat to the tastebuds. Main courses are a delight to have while their salads are huge servings of the freshest market offerings.

There is a complete wine list to go along with the food as well.

Service is good as they are attentive to you needs and seem positive all the time.
