My hubby and me had been to this French Fusion restaurant for the past seven years and the food had always been consistent and delicious! The service staffs were always friendly and the new location had a high ceiling and some carparks infront of the restaurant.
We started off with one dozen of the medium oysters. The oysters were plump and succulent! Yummy!
Every Wed is Oysters Nite! Hence, we got a good deal!
Next, we had the Little Neck Clams in Sake Wine Sauce! Its really Heavenly Clams!
Follow by the Beef Short Ribs, the Beef is soooo tender that melts in the mouth!
Lastly, we had the Chocolate Lava Cake. The Molten Lava is a Must Try!
Its always advisable to call to make booking as we waited for half an hour before we could get a table!
After giving this restaurant many chances we will not return. The manager or owner runs this place on rules and does not consider the customers needs. You do not close a kitchen at 9:30pm on a Friday night when you take a booking for 8:15pm. Stupidity!
I popped into this restaurant for lunch after visiting the bicycle shops just a few doors down. I don't know how this place has evaded by taste buds, or how few have reviewed it on HGW. The food and service were excellent. In particular, I remember the young Singaporean lad who served us, who was very attentive, friendly and genuine.
The oysters were large, fresh, plump and incredibly tasty. The main course of steak was great (though the meat was perhaps a little over done), and the dessert and coffee were both great. I cannot quite remember the prices, but they were very reasonable indeed for the quality, the ambience and the service.
When I went there the place was empty except for us, which doesn't bode well. But I don't know why it's empty, perhaps the location? But the food and service were just great.
Will definitely go there again. Good, well priced, fresh oysters are difficult to find in Singapore.
