autobiography of a kueh bolu

let me introduce myself. i'm a clamshell-shaped chocolate kueh bolu and i originate from the land of PrimaDeli. you may dismiss me as a boring, ordinary snack, but i can proudly declare you WRONG. XD i'm a very special, tasty kueh bolu that has successfully made crunchychoconut, a dessert and chocolate lover, to fall deeply in love with me...

take a bite of me and you'll marvel at my tasty crust. i believe my lovely crust is my most valuable asset. it's dark brown, delightfully crispy, light, abundant (i'm a thick-skinned fella, as you should be able to tell by now ;D ), of just the right amount of sweetness, and peppered with lovely chocolate chips. after savouring my crust, continue to explore me and you'll realise that, despite my bold exterior, i have a soft, cottony heart.

do not expect me to be oozing with dark, rich chocolate because after all, i'm a kueh bolu, not a chocolate truffle cake. however, please be assured that the subtle taste of chocolate within me is sufficient to make chocolate lovers (like my admirer crunchychoconut) happy!

hmm...i've come to the end of my short autobiography. as a parting gift, i'd like to offer you a piece of advice: try me and you'll love me! :)
