Located at Joo Chiat road, Puteri Mas is a household name when it comes to durian puffs. The Peranaken style confectioner also serves Nonya kueh, Indonesian pastries and fruit tartlets. See what foodies like this place for

Just bought some durian puffs from Puteri Mas at Joo Chiat. I walked pass after having my meal and smelled durian but was hesitating whether to buy or not as at that point of time I was already quite full. In the end, i gave in and bought a box of durian puffs, I do not have any regrets buying them.

It cost S$11.80 per box, each box consist of 20 bite size durian puffs.

Don't expect those puff puffs. But to me, it's still worth it for the quality.

Puteri Mas's durian puff is one of the thing that we must have on a weekly basis for many years now. We’d usually buy two boxes from their Joo Chiat Road outlet during the weekends and pre-order for family gatherings and potluck parties. These thin puffs with creamy durian are simply divine and their durian cake is also as delicious too. It is cost at $11 for a box of 20 & $35 for a 600gm durian cake, do take note that advance order is required for cakes.

It is the 1st time my friends and I easily licked off every last morsel even after a full meal and many beers in our belly.

The smell is not overpowering enough to turn away non-durian eaters, yet strong enough to cause durian-lovers to salivate. (we actually got the restaurant we were eating at to store the cake in their fridge, no complains of smell :D) Actual, frozen chunks of durian flesh found between layers of soft cake, was...
