duiran puffs and cakes

I Have actually gone to their outlet @ suntec city mall as they carry a range of cakes there. I didnt see any cakes for sale in their main outlet n since there's no establishment for the outlet @ suntec, i shall write my review here.

Durian fans would definately vote their durian puffs as one of the best in singapore besides the deli @ gdwd park hotel. $9 for a box of 20, the puffs are bitesize filled with generous durian pulps. Shiok!
Besides that, they also have chempedek muffins which i think is just so-so.

Well the outlet @ suntec carry a range of cakes other than durian. There were quite huge in terms of size and they cost only $3.50. Most of them are cream cakes with several layers of sponge. I had the coffee cake($3.50). It has the strong aroma of latte and i expected it to be rich. It turns out to be a coffee sponge cake with layers of coffee cream and hazelnut cream. I like the hazelnut cream which taste like kinder brueno. The sponge is jus normal- nth exciting.
Perhaps i would be back to try their other cakes, sacher torte?

Absolute Heaven~!

I have to say...... this place gives me a durian addiction. In all honesty, I never liked durian much and not often eating them. My friend recommended me this and I reluctantly tried it just yesterday. I thought i grew wings that moment i ate it. The puffs are small mouthfuls and it just worked my appetite. I finished the whole box with my friend in 10 mins. I'm definately going back for more. Its $11 for a box of 20 pcs and trust me its just nice for a heavenly feeling. Value for money as I think its worth paying for absolutely *%$^ing good durian puffs than &*%&ed up ones that I've tried elsewhere. Its soft and really melts... and for writing this review i'm already salivating. Service wise is a unique experience in a really good way.... to describe would be a soft and hard kind of reception which i think fits the old run down look of the place. Its hidden location among shophouses makes it more interesting to find the place and get the treasure. Haven't tried the durian cake and their other items yet and thats a good reason for me. I agree with everyone here and its absolutely ^&$%ing delicious.

Still the best!

It's still the best! There's no doubt about it. Tried all shops which also sell durian puffs, Puteri Mas is
still thumbs up! Though shop looks old but what matters most, their
food still stays tops. Yummy I just love their durian puffs.

Good but overpriced

I started buying cakes and puffs from Puteri Mas since 3-4 years ago under the recommendation of a friend. Back then, the cakes cost $28 each only.

After going overseas for 2 years, I returned to my favourite durian pastry shop only to find that they doubled (Yes, doubled!!) the price of their cake to $52 each!!! I was very shocked and disappointed that there was such a jump in the prices and I found out from my brother, who is also a fan because of me, that last year each cake cost about $30+.

Don't get me wrong, I love their cakes and puffs and will readily recommend them to others but I have to say I am not willing to pay this price for a cake though I still do buy their durian puffs. Now, I go to another bakery to get my durian cake fix.

Durian puff galore

Twenty puffs?!!! in a box.. It's not a lot. Trust me. It's deliciously filled with durian, not cream. Yum yum..

The cake is not bad either. Can't wait till i get another box of the puffs.
