| It's Still Instant Powder Here
I have been on a Japanese Curry hunt for the last few months and I was told that this was the place to try. Located in the Liang Court basement in the Mediya Market that caters to a largely Japanese crowd. I thus came with rather high expectations and was looking for something authentic.
I ordered the Beef Curry Set. Unfortunately, I was utterly disappointed when I tasted it and found that it tasted like what my roommate used to cook during my college days off an instant powder packet. Moreover, the beef brisket used is of a poor quality and I had a difficult time chewing the meat. For the price point that we paid this was certainly not worth it.
I also tried a bit of the Chicken Cutlet Curry and although the curry was not of quality, they do the chicken cutlet well. That's probably the only saving grace in my meal here. |
