Indian Rojak

My Comfort Food.
Apr 10, 2009Indian rojak has been in the limelight for all the wrong reason recently, I shall not dwell too much into it but personally I think such an incident is not an excuse to eat this local delicacy. To put it frankly, indian rojak is my comfort food, my all time favourite ! And I do not mind people calling me an Indian Rojak slut and that how much I love it.
I was introduced to this delicacy by my dad since I was in kindergarten and I have never look back everywhere I went I will hunt for indian rojak and none and I mean NONE can beat sajis indian rojak.
Nowadays a lot of the indian rojak get their items from suppliers and the most they do is to make their own sauce. How could call yourself a true blue indian rojak seller by just making your own sauce fried the item cut and then serve it, to me that is like a person cheating in exams or as I termed it FOOD PLAGIARISM. Sajis is an exception as i understand they handmade their rojak items.
To tell you the truth I do not even know most of the name of those rojak items I just love to eat ! However several items stand out from the rest such as the prawn fritter with its fresh n big size prawns as compare to other stalls. It definitely have my vote of appreciation. Well the gravy needless to say is also heavenly as it complement the rojak item very very well !
Whatever it is do try out this very good stall do not let a single stall bring down this singapore iconic food.Must Tries
