Silk smooth beancurd

I always thought the beancurd at Rocher Road is the best, till I found this Selegie Soya Bean. It's equally smooth as the one in Rocher, for a price of $1, really very affordable! It's less crowded and humid compared to the outlet at Rocher Road, I can enjoy my beancurd and drinks at comfort. It has enough space for big group and family.

went during a sat afternoon where there is no one at the shop. Staff got my order wrong completely and I need to correct her on the spot when she made her initial preparation. No apologies even after i corrected her.

Tow Huay is normal which you can find in many market, perhaps only the condiments are what you cant find in markets.

I would agree with kevin that the beancurd is excellent and is very smooth and silky. My hubby and I ended up sharing 4 bowls of beancurd!!!

Their banana fritters are especially nice... the banana is really very sweet...served warm and not mushy...and are golden yellow in colour!!! That realli whet my appetite cos i dislike banana fritters that are dark brown in colour. The butterfly served was also well fried, crispy and nice. And the sesame seeds on top brought out the flavour even more. Yummy.

What i like about this selegie outlet is that the place is huge compared to other outlets and they are not located by the road where parking is a major concern... at this branch, there's ample parking spaces so hubby and i didnt have to eat in fear that the traffic police might come and book us for illegal parking. The tables are also very clean and most importantly, there are sinks for us to wash our hands after we eat!!!

I will definitely come back for more!!! :)

Finally a selegie outlet in the north! The beancurd is excellent and is very smooth and silky.

The fried fritters is also ok but needs a bit of improvement. Overall, its great value for a $1 beancurd!
