Free flow of pork, beef and chicken for only $19.90 dinner or $16.90 lunch! They provide 3 different types of soup base and the pot can allow 2 types. The taste is reasonable good quality, cos they have high traffic flow of customers, so constantly buying fresh meat. (My guess! :P) I'm also quite surprise that for such cheap price, their service wasn't compromised! Whenever I asked for refill of meat, they came in within 2minutes.
Though not serving wagyu beef like En Lounge, but the beef still taste very good. I'm a beef lover, so when i say it's good, you can trust me on that! Haha! Nothing to talk about the ambience, clean and neat but like any other commercial restaurant, common.
A must try especially if you love beef too!
1. No typical steamboat sauce. No sesame sauce even. Best I can find - soya sauce. 2. Not much options for what they called buffet. Don't see golden mushrooms. Vegetables look Dirty n dull. 3. Pork soup is tasteless even after adding two eggs. Sukiyaki is ok. 4. Hygiene is bad. Pot was dirty before soup came so I quickly asked for a change. 5. Beef is tasteless n too tough. Bad quality. Overall: bad choice!
good food, fresh and juicy meat, though very limited variety.
BAD service, they seem not want to serve at all. The look, the attitude of the only 2 waiters all seem to shoo customers out of the restaurant.
The meat was supposed to be served to the table. But they take so long to serve one dish that many customers had to go to the fridge to get the meat themselves.
Good food, but service really spoil the entire experience.
Eat all you can at the house of Sukiyaki and Shabu shabu at an affordable price.
There are 6 types of soup broth for diners to choose from, sukiyaki, laksa, kimchi, tonyu miso, butaniku and shabu shabu. We had chosen laksa and Sukiyaki for the base. The pot was placed on an induction cooker with controllers by the side of the table.
Laksa was fragrant and thick which fills the stomach easily whereas sukiyaki sauce was a combination of sweet and salty taste, more towards my likings.
Overall, service was abit lacking here and there - they seems to be understaffed. We were frantically waving countless times to catch attention. Other than that, I would say that Suki-ya is a good gathering place for groups to catch up while enjoying their buffet meals.
