Eat weekend breakfast

Breakfast - http://phuachiuyen.blogspot.sg/2011/06/short-hair.html

I like the weekend breakfast Swensen offers. Northpoint's outlet is quite big and peaceful on weekends mornings.

You can enjoy your hearty meal with orange juice/apple juice. It's a very small cup but fret not, there's another cup of coffee/tea too! So you have two drinks and can sit to chat with your family or friends after eating breakfast.

Decided to have dinner here with my girlfriend and her brother but after this experience we will never patronize this outlet again. We were first invited to a seat of 4 near the entrance. After 5 mins, we felt this was too warm so we wanted to change our seats. This was due to the lack of airconditioning and horrible halogen lights in the area. To my surprised, there were actually plenty of seats in the inner region of the restaurant. Why was I ushered to that warm seats in the first place? Next, we ordered our food which was pretty standard. However, our main dish came before our appetizers. We have to ask for it before it was delievered, obviously missing out our order. Which eating, we were constantly asked if we are done so they could clear our plates. I mean what's the rush. Soon after, we called for the bill and paid up. However, my girlfriend was sorting out some stuff in her wallet, but we were asked by the branch manager if we needed to order anything else. We asked why? And she said because there is a queue outside, we had to leave if we have no more orders. Again, just because I paid, am I no longer allowed to sit for 5 mins? It's not like I sat for 15mins and not moving? Throughout the meal, it's as though we were rushing to finish it and had to leave immediately. Be warned readers. Not an enjoyable experience at all.

I went with my buddy to try out Swensen's Cafe Restaurant. I tried the Mushroom soup which came in a bowl made of bread. It was nice. I like the way they presented the soup. It was yummy. I also tried the vegetable fried pieces which were not bad. I was vegetarian on the day I tried out the food. The price was reasonable. Overall it was okay.
