02 Sep 2012Ambience: Above average.
Food: Good. Had the BBQ chicken. Nothing exceptional. Just normal nice tasting food.
Value: Average. Pretty normal for restaurants, I think.
Service: Average. They did give me the extra tartar sauce I requested, but then again did not provide a refill of the ice water jug. So, overall just average.
Overall: Average. Think that sums up the place very well. Not bad, not good. Can go.

Horrible service like other Swensen's
17 Jul 2011The service is terrible, like other Swensen's. Once we ordered 3 Yusheng and all came without fish, despite assurances that the fish was underneath. This time we made a reservation but they lost it (or didn't take it down in the first place), and miscounted the number of iced water cups to bring.
The crumble used for Banana/Apple "Crumble" is not like any other crumble I've had. It's more like pound cake. And they dump the sliced fruit on the hot pan unceremoniously and with no artistic sense.
The ice cream is priced near Haagen Dazs and Ben & Jerry's, but the quality falls far short. Relatively speaking their food is actually better than the ice cream.
The only good thing about Swensen's is they give you jugs of iced water on your table.
