Love the baked rice

Had the salmon n mushroom baked rice. Yummy. A bit on the saltish side but I enjoyed it. The staff in general were quite attentive. Topping up my water whenever running out. Will patronize again if im in the area.

Ice-Cream And Nostalgia

Full Swensen's review here

As one of the few ice-cream parlors around in the 80s, Swensen's today is still going strong despite the increasing competition. I used to visit as a kid, mainly for the Sticky Chewy Chocolate sundae, which I love!

I used to be rewarded with it as a treat for doing well in exams haha. It used to come in a wine-glass shaped serving-glass, but today, it comes in a tall serving glass.

While Swensen's didn't go the path of fancy custom-made ice-cream, they are still maintaining their solid base of ice-cream flavors which have stood the test of time. From Yam to Durian and Chendol, most of us will find comfort knowing that at Swensen's, some things haven't changed.

What has changed however, has changed for the better, and this includes their service, and food quality. They now offer more options for mains, like salads, and more side dishes as well.

Hearty Breakfast!

For photos and more reviews, visit  http://littlemomentsofmylife.wordpress.com (:

this used to be my favourite place to dine when i was a kid, mainly because i was an ardent SPAGHETTI fan (: i still am, and i still love swensen's. so i decided to come here for breakfast! (:

i chose the eggs set (i can’t remember the exact name). there are three choices for the egg: scrambled, sunny-side up and omelette. so you get it just the way you like it (: my favourite is SCRAMBLED. yummm! the set is really comprehensive - besides the egg, you get cheesy sausages which are oozy and lovely, a tomato (they used to grill it and it tasted so much better, but they have seemed to change this >.

Swensen

There are many Swensen outlets that serve good food but what struck me the most about this swensen outlet at thomson plaza is the ambience and service. This outlet has terrific ambience as one can see that a lot of work was put into designing the place to make it exquisite and at the same time cosy. The layout is similar to American's dine-in. The service has always been excellent which have been fast and efficient.Nice place to have a quiet meal to end the day.
