Seems to have improved since the negative reviews two years ago

The reviews for this place have been pretty negative. However, they are at least two years old, and the situation seems to have improved since then. I had quite a lovely evening there with friends last night. The staff was mostly quite friendly (with the exception of one guy who looked like he was in an awful mood the entire time), and the food, while not fantastic, was enjoyable, and reasonably priced. The atmosphere was rather good too. It's located at the tail end of Lor Mambong, so if you sit outside, you get a nice view looking down the entire stretch of restaurants and bars, if you're into that kind of thing. All in all, i'd say check out some of the other establishments at Holland V, but don't discount Tango just because of the poor reviews.

Went last night with three friends - ordered burgers which came out after 40 minutes very under-cooked. Sent them back. After repeatedly asking where the food was, it was about 50 mins later where I was getting pretty annoyed and asked the staff what the issue was (it's just burgers, right?). One of the staff got really annoyed and drew back his fist, started shouting and asking if I wanted to fight him. His two colleagues restrained him and took him away with him still kicking and shouting! To his credit, the guy called Dave (I think) couldn't stop apologising, but the damage was done.

Not sure if the guy has been fired, but you can guess I won't be going back.

Not sure how to rate this restaurant at zero, but if I can work it out, that's what it deserves.

We ordered 3 simple cheeseburgers. They arrived after 45 minutes. The burgers were uncooked and cold in the middle. The chips were cold. The salad was rotting leaves.

We sent everything back. There was no word of apology from the generally surly staff.

Another 45 mins passed before my friend asked what was taking so long and how the hell it could take nearly an hour and a half to cook 3 cheeseburgers.

At this point, the waiter who took the order started shouting and became aggressive. He had to be restrained by other waiters and bundled into the kitchen.

I have no hesitation in giving this establishment zero points.
