Tasty Thai Hut

Tasty Thai Hut is one of those few places which serve very authentic thai food outside thailand, usually, I find a very local taste modification in the Thai served. However, since the Lady is Thai, there isn't any problem of the joint not knowing it's identity.

I have tried the Minced Basil chicken and Rice, The Tom Yum, The Pad Thai, and the Green Curry.

I find the minced Chicken and rice the best, but the tom yum and green curry come close. The pad thai is not that great, but good enough.

There is incredible value for money, all dishes are 4 dollars, and should be enough to fill an average person's tummy. It's a self service counter, so service can't be rated, though the lady making the food makes a few modifications I usually ask her for very happily.

It's at a food court, so there is hardly any ambience.

All in all, if one is looking for authentic street-style thai food with those few popular thai food choices this place is definitely recommended.

After reading the reviews, i went there to try it and its good! Simple place, only 7 dishes, pretty good taste...very generous with the ingredients. Please dont expect it to be served like a restaurant or cafe..more like home cooked style. Each dish is $4, all of them are good. Been there 3 times already. Please note, after speaking to the Thai Lady Cook, she said they are closed every mon and fri.

Ps i usually pack some and reheat for lunch or dinner. The Green Curry and Tom Yum soup were still great after 3 days in the fridge.

Was there on a weekday evening, around 6pm. Green Curry was sold out already!

There was no queue and my food was ready within minutes.

I tried the Tom Yum Soup. I was pleasantly surprise to find oyster mushroom in my soup. There was generous servings of prawns too.

Would love to go back and try the Green Curry Chicken someday.

The phad thai is okay okay only.Parents & i agreed that it is kind of saltish and when all the dishes arrived, this dish was kind of cold.

Ingredients inside are in abundance though - big, fresh prawns, sotongs.

Just that do try this dish when it is piping hot not cold.

The Green curry chicken here is very popular.

After me was another auntie who wanted to order 2 but they are only left with the last one.

The taste is great! Not recommended for ppl who dont really like coconut taste though as thai curry is supposed to be strong in that taste.

It says green curry Chicken but i suspect there are other meats inside.

there are 2 diff kinds of meat found, 1 purely meat another more like bones.

or maybe is chicken but diff parts? -.-

ANYWAY, doesn't matter!

the meat is GoOD!!! like really good!

the meat is tender and moist with the curry fragrance inside.

the bones when suck is flowing out with all the curry!

NICE! MUST TRY!!!
