TCC - The Coffee Connoisseur (Velocity @ Novena Square)

Decent cafe food that will not bust your wallet.

We had the smoked salmon salad, smoked salmon sandwich, mushroom cream pasta, curry patty, grilled dory - all had no complains but nothing to shout about.

This place is convenient for groups to meet up and hang out. Their drinks are consistently innovative and nice. Service is commendable.

16 June 2008 : I was on the way to the old shack when NS called up regarding dinner & drinks. We decided to have dinner & drinks at this feeding place. We sat at the outdoor dining area.

We ordered :
Summer Passion $6.20
Tropical Tamarind Chicken $14.20
Smoked Salmon & prawn Linguine $15.80

My Tropical Tamarind Chicken was nice - it came with potatos and asparagus. I liked it very much. My Summer Passion was the highlight of my meal. It tasted so good. =o)

This was surprisingly a good place to rest after work. It was not humid and being seated outside, you actually feel less "contained".

TCC at Novena is one of the joints I come regularly to have a coffee and catch up with old pals. The spacious seating allows for space and the place offers those who want to chill innovative chairs - some which allow for you to semi lie-down and take a quick nap.

TCC offers a wide range of coffee and has recently ventured into food as well. However, I am pretty fixated on what I order when I go - the Yuan Yang - or a mixture of coffee and tea. However, those who are more of a connoisseur than I am in the world of coffee will be glad to know that they offer a wide range of gourmet coffees as well.

Service is pretty good, and staff do not me away even though I chat the evening away with a coffee. Occassionally, you may even see a celebrity at this branch, so that's some bonus eye candy as well.
