Slow tea
Apr 19, 2009Teadot is a really clean, modern, and somewhat more peaceful area to escape the overpopulation of the mall.
It occupies a huge area of the floor and has comfy chairs and tables.
They offer quite a lot of different flavored beverages such as chai tea, strawberry milk tea, Angel's Breath Tea (no idea what the hell that is), etc. They also have cakes, desserts, coffee, etc.
The people at the counter were very smiley and helpful. She recommended a strawberry milk tea which I wanted hot. I asked for take away but-- wait for it- CONUNDRUM! They don't provide takeaway orders for hot beverages. So instead, I had to wait for 10-15 minutes on a chair, by myself, waiting for my tea. I was surrounded by couples.
It cost me around 8-9 dollars for a bigger size. It was $6 for a small one which they gave a very unpleasant name to. I think it was "weeny" or "teeny" or "itsy" or "bitsy" or some other unattractive word. It works though. That's why I got the regular. I think it was quite costly for just a cup of tea.
When I -finally- received my hot strawberry flavored tea, it looked so good I forgot that I had to wait. It came in a cute, chic, cup with "Teadot" written on it.
There was froth on the top of the tea, and when I finally put it to my lips, it was so smooth. (How do these places make such smooth teas?!) I tasted the strawberry right away. It tasted a bit like flavoring. However, the tea tasted...okay. It could have been thicker but there was enough milk in it. Halfway through my cup, the strawberry taste was no longer there. Still, It made me very relaxingly full.
I've had better milk tea than that in some kopitiam. But this tea-heaven is so pretty with so many varieties- I would definitely come back to raid the place.I also recommend this place for

Cafe
Jul 28, 2009I like the green tea latte here. It's formy and milky.
They have assorted cakes here and they are sourced frm well-recognized establishment and hotels.Do try the wildjackfruit cake, it's one of their signature. The Chocolate banana mousse is a rich and velvety chocolate mousse with caramelised bananas. Coated with dark chocolate fudge and rich chocolate mousse, there's pcs of caramelised bananas in between. Yes, they are soft but not soggy. The chocolate and banana seemed to blend together. According to the staff, there's one customer who always order 2 slices for himself. Even though im not a fan of bananas, i must admit this suits my tastebuds.I also recommend this place for

I like it... ALOT.
Jun 8, 2009If you are as much a tea lover as i am, you'll find Teadot your dream come true! Matcha Latte, caramel infused strawberry tea, Olong with citrus syrup and lavender tea.. the list goes on. I had a lovely regular cup of my favourite Green Tea Latte.
The cup was a good hearty size and was just for $6+ and best of all, it tasted good. I'm picky with this drink, I've tried quite afew versions from different places and this is one of the best.
The cafe works fast as well, it didn't really take long before my drink came. The area has alot of seats so you really don't have to worry about not finding a place to sit.
Maybe they should include more munchies or snacks although they do have an assorted variety of Cheese Cakes.
So thumbs up for me, wouldn't reccomend it to coffee addicts though..I also recommend this place for

Nice rosebud tea.
Feb 12, 2010I tried their regular Rose Potion ($6.45), which is rosebud tea, while waiting for my friend.
The tea was very fragrant, but there was only a small, pathetic rosebud floating. But overall, it is very nice.. and the seats are very comfortable!Must Tries

Enjoyable drinks.
Dec 14, 2009Besides the usual Starbucks Christmas drinks, we love the Teas at teadot.
We enjoyed our Perfect Match and Matcha Latte. If you love green tea, you will enjoy it. But this is not for everyone.
Wild Jackfruit Cake - Lightly Cheese Cake with Fresh Jackfruit. I'm not a big fan of Jackfruit but i did enjoyed the cake though.
If you are tired of your usual coffee break, and willing to pay a bit more for decent good tea drink, why not give teadot a try then. :)Spent about

Tea place
May 4, 2009Teadot, frm the name itself u would noe they sell tea items. However, u can also get a slice of cake here. They actually source their cakes frm 5 star hotels. In my opinion, the cheesecakes might be frm hilton.(jus a guess).
Teadot occupies the open space at level 3, making it so convenient for people jus to stop by n grab a pc of cake n enjoy their tea. The wild jackfruit is highly recommended by them as it's always sold out. I got myself that.
The cake, smooth n soft to the texture, with bits of jackfruits embeded. It's not too sweet n yet not heavy. Jackfruit taste is jus alright(not too heavy also). I like this.
They have another outlet @ bugis iluma but i couldnt locate it when i visited. I've asked them abt the exact location n i think i would go to the bugis outlet as it's more convenient for me.Must Tries
