| Great food!!
Love the food. For starters, the prawn bisque followed by the duck then the freshly made flourless chocolate cake. Banana milkshake to top it off makes a fantastic meal. The place has expanded since my first visit but I heard that they are moving so call before going. The chef is a nice chap who cooks everything personally. It is relatively almost a 1 man show with 2 waiters so be prepared to wait for your food. Not for those who are rushing thru meals. |

| Great value
We have tried almost everything on the menu at Black Sheep and have not been disappointed so far! Wasn't difficult as the menu is quite limited in terms of options. Cafe is decorated predominantly with Ikea stuff, which actually feels quite 'homely' if you know what I mean! There are a few pieces of lovely paintings specially done for them. The only drawback is the long waiting time as there is 1 chef - Chef Ratha. If you enjoy slow food and go in a group, the waiting shouldn't bother you much. If you get a chance to, pre-order the flourless chocolate cake. It is excellent and keeps well. |

| Black sheep cafe
its a place sitted amongst the private residential area in seletar area. very quiet, peaceful surroundings. its a very small set up. the most it could take is 20-30 people. the kitchen and the dining area is in the same room. it depends on how you see it. the plus point is that your olfactory senses is basked in the aroma of the food. the bad thing is the cooking raise the temperature of the room. there is radio playing in the background. nothing extraordinary about the decor and furniture and ambiance.
the food quality is alright for its price(about 20 per person). but considering its located in a residential area, it seems pricey. service is ordinary. all in all, it is a very ordinary place located in a very quiet and serene place. you should go to this place if you want to get away from the crowds |

| Quality French Cuisine at Low Prices
I organised a small gathering at this cafe for my dad's 50th birthday for about 20-25 people. This place is small and cosy just perfect for a small private function. We had a 4 course dinner and it only cost less than $40 per pax including drinks but excluding wine. We brought our own but the cafe also has some pretty good wines. The place is quiet and the food is really good. My favourite was the duck confit as the duck had no smell and was very tender and juicy. The brie cheese appetiser is something i would strongly recommend to cheese lovers. It is grilled to perfection. The flourless chocolate tart is light and fluffy with chocolate sauce oozing out from the middle, ice-cream served on the side made this dessert a dish to die for.
If you are looking for quality food at cafe prices, this is the place to go.
However, its best to make reservations several days ahead as the restaurant is often fully booked. |
