| Great business venue to bring clients
China Club is a great business venue to bring your clients, as it offers a great view of Singapore's skyline with the ongoing construction of the Marina IR. The food is decent and offers set lunches which I recommend is the dim sum menu at less than S$50 per pax. |

| nice food, good service, pricey pricey pricey
i've been to this place several times. the food is consistent. we usually have the same few items anyway.
crab claw in spicy coconut sauce - i would mop up all the sauce with the deepfried mantou - oh so sinful oh so lovely...
i'm not a fan of the braised noodles - just like meepok dry but my hosts like it.
i like the crab fried rice. it was nicely done, the rice grains were all one by one not stuck together.
the appetiser of crispy pork with mustard sauce, bacon rolled around scallop/prawn is simply yummy yummy.
the food here never disappoints. although the mango milk dessert is not really the HK style (mango puree with pomelo & coconut cream) but its still nice. abit watery though.
the view is spectacular.
i've been here for new year's eve fireworks and its like BEST view ever.
i think its only a members club. so i dunno, try to find someone who can bring you there or try to make reservations somehow.
1 thing - dress code. NO jeans, NO slippers pls. Think HIGH CLASS.
(literally HIGH lah - you are like at least 60 storeys up in the sky)
try this place once in your life time.
they also host wedding dinner /solemnisation ceremony too! |

| Incredibly good food.... with an equally incredibly big price tag
I've heard that this is a members only club. Wonder if they accept Bookworm club membership card or not. Anyway, my salary is not enough for a meal here (unless gahmen and credit card companies allow me to pay my bills one month later) but damn heng got invited to someone's farewell party there.
Wah. Super high class chinese restaurant. And the view is amazing.
We took a set like 8 or 10 course lunch. The food comes to you in little sample like portions. Which is cool cos that means you get to try many things. But the bad thing is that if you want more of it, too bad! But many little things add up to one big eating experience so if you're not a big eater, you'll really struggle at the end of the lunch.
Man, if I could only remember the names of all the lovely dishes. But unfortunately I can only tell you that everything was superb. I think the bill was a cool $1400. And there were only 8 of us.
It's really really good food but unfortunately the price tag is way beyond reach for me.
Note 1: Wear nice nice hor. Or else wait sia sway.
Note 2: Next time got company event or what then you suggest this place la!
Note 3: Pace yourself because the dishes at the end are really yummy too. |
