Well, I think the donuts craze is dying out based on the short queue at the Donut Factory stall in Raffles City.

However, I still enjoy the donuts at this place which is soft and fluffy, complete with yummy but not too sweet toppings.

Unable to resist the temptation when I passed by this stall recently, I bought 3 donuts at the price of $3.90 : Hazlenut Milk Chocolate Donut, Coffee Roasted Almond Dount and Apple Cinnamon Donut.

They're simply delicious and perfect for donuts fans!

guess the fad has finally worn off and singaporeans have moved on to other taste-worthy outlets. the past couple times i've walked past the donut factory at raffles city, there haven't been more than a couple people waiting in line and today, when i went, there were exactly 3... so seeing as i had never been bothered to go check out these queue-worthy donuts i decided to wait the 30 seconds it took to get myself a couple...

let's just say that i will probably never go back again... and why people have queued to get their hands on a box will continue to baffle me.. the donuts are sweet... cringingly so... and so light it's almost not there... give me a bread talk sugar donut any day!

Donuts have an EXTREMELY SWEET topping and are clearly only for those who have a very sweet tooth and can resist popping more into their mouths! Besides, donuts are DEEP FRIED and the taste lingers in the throat for at least a day!

In a nutshell, they are tasty but expensive and very very unhealthy.

I would choose Donut Factory over Krispy Kreme or Dunkin or any other brand anytime.

My preference for donuts is the light and fluffy one, which is exactly the one Donut Factory serves.

DF has about 15 assorted flavours, but I stick to the same few each time. Or rather the same one - Double Chocolate. I just love it when the dark chocolate filling oozes out each time I bite into it.

One thing about DF is the queue. It's terribly long. Service can be improved, but I guess as long as the donuts are yummy, people won't mind queuing.

after reading several review on this outlet i am surprise to learn that it score so low...

but i guess it must be the long time of waiting...

i happen to passby and since the queue was short, i join in and got my donuts withn 20 to 30 mins for a box of 12.

I got 2 donuts of each flavour and like the double chocolate, and the mocha. The texture of the donuts are very good and even after over night, without refridgeration, it still taste better and softer than the ones at taka basement.

The strawberry are a bit too sweet and spicy cheese is not my taste.

The hazelnut does not have enough chocolate.

A lady was station to ensure that the queue is ok and in fact, she went over to the "1st part" to inform those who start to queue there...

As i did not wait too long, i am happy and will only queue again when is short.

I would not spend 1 to 3hrs, although i like them.
at $12.50 for 12 donuts and with so much filing, i find it very worthwhile.
