Pricey but absolutely worth it!

I came here to celebrate my first anniversary. For more details visit http://doriateo.blogspot.sg/2014/11/how-we-celebrated-our-first-anniversary.html I am very satsified with my experience here and would definitely come back here again.

The ambience of the whole place is perfect. It's an ideal setting for an intimate, quiet dinner. I heard that you can see fireworks from here during national day, but you'll probably have to reserve seats one year in advance.

The service staff here receive two thumbs up from me. Their service is efficient and fast. The food is served piping hot too. What's more, i received a complimentary chocolate cake because it was my anniversary!

The food here was of great quality. I opted for their signature antipasti platter ($29) and it's great that i had a variety of choices. Everything on their platter tasted fantastic, especially for their aged ham and smoked cheese. The thin beef slices were probably the best i have tasted as well.

For their mains, we had one of their specials for the month. We chose their crab meat pasta. I don't think you can get it off their menu anymore. We also chose their Deliza Al Tartufo, which consisted of mini ravioli with mascarpone and truffle stuffing. This is a (die die) must try! Although the serving size is small for $28, you won't regret it, especially if you're a truffle fan.

We coupled our meal with two glasses of moscato wine for $18 a glass. We weren't disappointed. The wine was of good quality and we were certainly impressed.

I will definitely be back here again!

So glad that they have a truffle-themed course for the month of October 2014. It was good, the truffles were really fragrant. I think that the main dish needs slight improvement though. Overall we had a great experience at the Lighthouse.
