Tuck into succulent and fresh seafood served in a pan inspired by the finest seafood restaurants found along Fulton Street in Manhattan. Try its specialty flaming seafood platter and watch as the prawns are being blow torched right before it's served to your table.
There's a $9.90 lunch promotion happening at Manhattan Fish Market now, where you choose from 4 styles of fish cooking (poached, fried, grilled, baked) and have it served as a meal with rice/chips and a side of vegetables. Those with a DBS card also get a Soup of the Day and a soft drink for the price.
As I went in a big group, there were enough of us to order all 4 so we could have a bite of everything. My personal favourite was the grilled Fiery Cherry Snapper and Mussels. It was well grilled, just firm enough on the outside while still retaining that juicy quality inside. Topped with a sambal-like chilli and served with Garlic Herb Rice (I LOVE their rice), this was a meal even my health conscious mom would approve of.
And if it gets too spicy, I'd recommend the Sweet Alabama Peanut Butter smoothie. It was so thick, yet not too sweet, a perfect compliment to the dry chilli.
At $9.90, this is a lunch promotion so worth catching, I spotted a group of 8 little (they looked like they were still in primary school) enjoying their little platters, sans-chaperon!
The ambience transports us to a dock where the kitchen serves food right out of the sea and into our plates. With seafood fresh as your morning-washed face, you can never go wrong with any choice of menu you choose. Friendly staff with patience of a horse strutting the aisle with trays and trays or orders. And they wont mind to go the extra mile just to see your pearly smile! Expect brilliant service from the moment you sit to when you leave the place. An absolute pleasant dine!!
Yes, the hottest menu, in my honest opinion is the Manhattan flaming seafood platter. Most value for money and also you are able to try all the different seafood in one order. Yiu have the fish, calamari and of course, my favourite prawn. With five outlets or so, go give it a try if you are craving for western food. They have other variety as well and it would not break your bank. Good for weeken lunch or dinner or a great palce to gather with friends.
