Great casual italian restaurant

A great little casual restaurant serving up good italian fare. I really enjot the pizza ans pasta at this place. Add to that the fact that its pretty affordable, and that they also offer really good meatballs, you can see why I regularly frequent this place! Fantastic casual place  to eat when you're at Raffles City. Definitely one of my favourites.

good but expensive

the pizzaw were tasty but quite expensive. I guess for that money you can find another spot with the same quality, a better service and with a better atmosphere.

The Pizza Place At Raffles City: Wide Assortment Of Pizza

This is my most frequent pizza outlet all around Singapore. Why? Simply because they produce (in my opinion) the tastiest and a wide assortment of uniquely flavoured pizzas in town!

They have three series of pizzas: Signature ($24.8 & $34.8), Gourmet ($22.8 & $32.8) and Classic ($20.8 & $30.8). Prices are 10" and 14" respectively.

The Pizza Place offers Oriental flavours such as Tom Yam, the Western classics  Cheeseburger and Chef's recommendations like the New Yorker, Seafood, Meat Lover and many more.

What's attractive about this pizza joint is the ability to enjoy "best of both worlds" in one single pizza. In order words, you are able to have 2 flavours from the same category.

On top of pizzas, they do serve pastas and sides which you can also choose from.

The Pizza Place is true to their word with their motto as "Pizza with the DIFFERENCE"

excellent pasta - favourite place

The pasta here is excellent. I recommend the seafood carbonara. Take note that it's not authentic Italian carbonara (which is black pepper, bacon oil and NO cream), but it's glorious nonetheless. There's also free flow parmesan cheese.

The sides are good too, the baked meatballs are overflowing with cheese.

It's a tiny place, so the seats are rather close together, but just make sure you come during off-peak periods and you'll be fine. The service is great, the towkay is sometimes there to clear tables.

I would definitely visit again. Highly recommended!

Food Trail

The fourth pit stop for the gourmet food trail is this place. The outlet is located at a quiet end of the basement. The dine in area is rather small, which makes the place feels cozy with its warm lighting.

Here we get to try some of its Signature Pizzas, which costs $24.80/ Regular 10", $34.80/ Large 14", Additional $2 for New York Crust, Additional $1.50 for Calzone (regular).

Chicken Royale
Creamy Sauce, Rosmary Chicken, Onions, Green Capsicum, Pineapples, Mozzarella, Cheddar
Sounds like a pizza of too much cheese, I am afraid that it will tastes too cheesey. Instead it tastes very creamy with a melt in the mouth taste.

Double Cheeseburger
Tangy Tomato Sauce, Ground Beef, Beef Pastrami, Onions Mozzarella, Cheddar, Honey Mustard
At the bite, the juicy flavour fills my mouth. It is a simply drooling pizza.

Aglio Olio Scampi Linguine ($12.80)
Aglio Olio Linguine pan fried with garlic, prawns and parmesan
With 3 chillies marking on the menu, I am expecting the dish to be very spicy. But it is just a hint spicy. I feel that the pasta tends to clump together.

We wash down the meal with a glass of ice lemon tea ($2.80), which is a cold and refreshing end to the tasty meal. Overall the food is delicious. Service is swift in serving and fast in response.
