Located in the

heart of Republic Polytechnic Library there is a hidden GEM – The Reel Room,

cozy and with good ambience. I was pleasantly

surprised.

What makes me fell

in love with this eatery is that they are VEGETARIAN

FRIENDLY! Glad to see a special section on their menu – Vegetarian Station, dedicate to veg*n

or diner that enjoy Vegetarian Cuisine or Eco Friendly Cuisine.

Ordered the Set

Meal cost $6.50, which pairs a main and a hot/cold beverage. I picked their

Vegetarian Pasta that is served with Zucchini and tomatoes and coffee with

milk. The pasta has lovely balance of

flavour making it an enjoyable dish. Nice coffee too.

I have a very

satisfactory lunch here and found myself wishing there was more vegetarian

options on the menu, so that I can come back more often.

Have a wonderful dining

experience there. As Republic Polytechnic is an open concept campus, public can

patronise the eateries there freely, I think I would come back with my friends.

Republic Polytechnic, school of one colour but located in the heart of the library is a cafe with a splash of orange, awesome music, ambience and i can guarantee awesome food. Besides the ambience and awesome food, this cosy little cafe has 5 pool tables.

This cafe has great pasta, baked pasta and their baked rice is a MUST TRY.

Tucked away in a little corner of the library of Republic Polytechnic, this little cafe serves yummy sandwiches, pasta, smoothies and coffee for people who enjoy a nice cuppa. Catering for the usual student crowd of the poly, this cafe is open to the public and anyone who would like to enjoy a light meal around the neighbourhood. The cafe shows movies and short films during the day to attract the younger crowd, therefore making it a really hip place to just hang out.

Best part is the free wi-fi and you can even browse through the extensive library collection that is around the cafe. Staff and students of the poly gets 15% off but if you like to work on your laptop without feeling the pressure of leaving, this would be a great place with plenty of power points for you to jack your laptop in too.

A nice cosy hang out place with free movies to boot, great place to study too!
