One of My Favourite Hokkien Mee
Nov 14, 2008This has to be one of my favourite hokkien mee, and probably in the eyes of many too, given that the queues here can be really long.
Yet like all the other fans, I actually bother to queue here when I visit the Food Republic @ Wisma Atria as I really enjoy prawn stock of the noodles. As I do not visit Wisma Atria often, I would occasionally order a medium portion to indulge by myself.
And guess what? For just one day only on the 22 November you can catch the original founder cooking his hokkien mee at the Big Eat Out at the Peranakan museum. I look forward to stuffing my face then.Must Tries

A little inconsistency... but still Good!

This is one of the few stalls I'd return time and again when I eat at Food Republic (Wisma Atria). There is just something different with the way they fry their Hokkien Mee. Apparently, fresh prawn stock is used in the frying of the Hokkien Mee.
Fried Hokkien Mee (Rating: 6.5/10)
After enduring the long queue (the queue is always there), we got our medium serve of Fried Hokkien Mee. I have to say they are usually rather consistent, but this time round, it was a little too wet for my likings. However, it still tasted good.I also recommend this place for

Its asian fast food!
Mar 1, 2010Can't really go wrong with this hokkien mee. It may not be the best in Singapore, but it's probably the best you can get in a food court.
The whole package with air-con and the big glass cooking display is worth the money. One of my top eats in Wisma.Must Tries
