Dining at Tony Roma's, Suntec wif my Family~
01 Jul 2012My last time dining at Tony Roma's was few years back, a bit sad with the relocation of the Restaurant as the interior design was not that great as before.

We ordered Baby Back Ribs with Tony Roma's Original BBQ Sauce, I feel that the marinate of the meat was not fully absorbed. Baked Potato was a failure...
Love the Fries, Soup-Of-The-Day Mushroom Soup, Fish Fillet, and the "Tony's Dessert Tr!O - Chocolate Cookie".
Spent $129.45 with Tony Roma's $10 Dining Voucher for OCBC Card Members.
Service was excellent!!~

Finger-licking good!
29 May 2012It’s been about a decade since I last dined here. Guess I just don’t crave ribs like some people do, seeing as I’d walked past TR every now and then yet the thought of ribs hadn’t once entered my mind. Until we needed a late dinner in Suntec City and realized the restaurant closed at 11pm.
We were pleased with the complimentary baguette. Served with garlic butter, it’s crispy yet pillowy soft. Great to tide us over while we waited for our food.
The onion loaf (half $9.90) was creatively shaped into a basket, bearing a cup of bbq mayo dipping sauce in its bosom. The giant hand-cut onions were first breaded then deep-fried to a golden brown. Free of excess grease, the batter was ultra thin and crispy. Utterly moreish and I polished it off on its own since the sauce didn’t quite work for me.
We had the original baby back ribs (full rack $34.90), and really enjoyed the tender, lean pork loin meat basted with original bbq sauce. The mild spiciness complemented the sweet-tangy flavor, and the charred meat came with a hint of smokiness. As for the sides, both baked potato and coleslaw were delish, especially the former due to a distinct buttery fragrance and savory bacon bits.
Thankfully, our hearty meal didn’t turned out too rushed. Service was attentive and polite with regular water-refills. We even got extra napkins and wet towels as a staff noticed us eating with our fingers.
Note: OCBC cardholders are entitled to a $10 return dining voucher till 31 December 2012.
