Excellent Ambience

The highlight for us was definitely the ambience. Food-wise, the spread was decent but there weren’t many “to-die-for” items. At S$59++ for adults and half-price for children however, it’s a pretty decent rate. Their festive spread and rates will last till end of 2015.

Our rating: 8 out of 10 (Ambience: 9, Service: 9, Variety: 8, Presentation: 8, Taste: 7, Value-for-money: 7)

In terms of seating arrangements, we actually found the seating area outside to be quieter and cozier.

One of the highlights of the meal is supposedly the lobsters. Each paying customer can order up to 2 portions of the chef-specialty lobsters. The flavour of the evening that day was butter-lobsters, but they were unfortunately disappointing. The meat felt overcooked, and the butter sauce was hardly fragrant. We much preferred the black-pepper crayfish from the main buffet spread.

Town restaurant offers different theme of dinner buffet every time. So you can expect to see many new types of food each time you visit the restaurant. No matter which theme of buffet they have, rest assured that their food quality was always good, this explains why Town Restaurant is always full house especially during weekends!

Town restaurant has always impress me with the variety as well as the quality. If you want Variety + Quality, I can tell you there is no other hotels in Singapore that can do it except Town restaurant!

As for the service, we have to be understanding that there might be some misses sometimes as I can see that all the staff were very busy and tired despite so many guests calling them here and there. I can see that they were really trying their best to provide the most polite service to every guests! So I want to say kudos to all the staff at Town Restaurant! Every visit is so happy here!

It's already so good for non special occasions, I can imagine it will be even more fantastic on festive seasons! You can consider this place for your X'mas & New Year Dinner here!

The restaurant is very big and the buffet spread were very huge!! This is the only post that took me very long to finish uploading all the photos in my blog! Quality of food were mostly quite good and Service was great as well. Nothing to complain actually. The prices are very reasonable for the buffet spread - Value For Money!!

Enjoyable dinner

Fresh oyster and sashimi, tasteful local delights and good service!!  I paid by Maybank credit card and enjoyed 20% discount, so only $50 per pax (include tax and service charge). Very reasonable price.

Good Buffet lunch at Fullerton Hotel

My friend organised a birthday party for his son turning 1 year old at this restaurant.

Having a party at a buffet restaurant is good, cos the guests can choose from a variety of cuisine and also you can walk around the restaurant to burn some calories, allowing you to eat more!

The restaurant has several station sited mainly bear the entrance of the restaurant on 2 floors:

- Chinese Noodle: Laksa, prawn noodles and Mee Rebus were available

- Japanese Food Section: Variety of sushi, appetiser and soba noodles.

- Indian Food Section: Nasi Briyani, Indian Fish curry and Butter chicken.

- Prata and Roti John live station.

- Cooked Food section: Popiah, Kueh Pie Tee, Peranakan Ngoh Hiang (Spring Rolls), Nasi lemak, Fried Chicken Wings, Satay, Kambing Soup, Steamed dim sum and Glutinous rice

- Breads & Pastries: A variety of Sandwiches and pastries, both sweet and savoury.

- Desserts: Chendol, Sea coconut, Tau Suan, fresh fruits, local kueh (pastries), Egg tarts, Black sesame paste, Yam custard.

I am very impressed with the range and quality of food on offer for the buffet spread. The focus of the buffet has more emphasis on local food, with some western and Japanese selections to cater to customers who want variety.

In particular, I liked the following: Indian Fish curry, Kambing Soup, Peranakan Ngoh Hiang (Spring Rolls), Yam custard Dessert. The Roti John was exceptional and is a must try, because of the egg and meat topping they used to fry with the bread. Being a local, I find the flavours were authentic.

Overall the quality of food here is good and they provide a good selection of selection to cater to most taste buds.

I had a good time eating through the buffet spread.

The staff were also attentive and cleared the plates efficiently and attended to our requests quickly.

Highly Recommended!
