Warning - eating here will cause you to feel unsatisfied anywhere else.

The original Tung Lok restaurent.

Actually got introduced to this place by my parents when we started receiving that 50% off voucher from NKF. Wonder if they still give those..lol

Never been there for dinner, though its definitely a very good looking place, with expensive chinese paintings (which are actually good) around the restaurent. More traditional and fancy in a chinese kind of way. You won't find any asian minimalist/zen infleunce here.

The service is top notch, as expected of a restaurent of this level. Fast reactions, and never needed to remind them of the need to serve our tea or to refill our pots.

The food here is simply fantastic...as expected of an award winning group of restaurents, from the basic dimsum dishes, to the gastronomic pieces like sharks fin and 'buddha jump over the wall'.

Ok. Fine. I never actually tried the buddha.

However, as for the rest of the dishes that is affordable, once you have them here, all other restaurents out there will pale in comparism. Even staples like charsiew bao and siew mai are delicious. I believe they have one of the best xiao long baos in Singapore as well.

As expected though, the prices per dish will definitely be about 10% higher than what they charge elsewhere. However, you will get more than what you pay for in the end, I guarantee it.

Enjoy ^^

Must Tries: Dim Sum. Xiao Long Bao.
