Formerly known as Ristorante de Parma, Villa di Parma is a small family-run Italian Restaurant that are into serving good wholesome meals the old fashion way. We make our own stock, sauce and desserts. We uses olive oil in all our dishes except for deep frying purposes.

Bad Servvice & Attitude!
28 Mar 2013I called up to enquire abt your opening hours.
The guy who picked up the call, whoever he is, is absolutely rude. When I asked if you guys are open for lunch on Sun ave me a flat 'NO!' in an unfriendly, can't-be-bothered tone. When I ask about Easter Sunday, a day where you probably see more families eating out, for celebratory reasons, He brushed me off again, NO! Ok, I got the hint, he couldn't care less to serve then he shouldn't be in the service industry.
It's a shame that I got such service when I have read such excellent reviews on HGW and decided to try it for the first time, and it's with a group of 12 people! Big mistake cos I am taking my group somewhere else and I WILL NEVER, EVER recommend VDP to anyone nor set foot in your pathtic restaurant. Never have, NEVER WILL!

Owner Chef cooks up great Italian Food
26 Dec 2012I've always tried to support our local boys when they cook Western food. I've dealt with chefs from the West and Australia and they tend to be over rated. Our boys cook up good stuff at reasonable prices - so support them !
Ambience: Still cool, comfortable and cozy.
Food: Starters - order the clamari rings, fresh squid rings in a light crumbed coating fried to perfection. The squid is still soft in the crumb. This calls for another plate ! The two pizzas were well prepared. Crust tasted a bit too much like bread for me, could have been crustier like Pizza. Ingredients and toppings were perfect (see photos). Mushroom soup was chunky and tasty with a good mix of mushroom, and the seafood soup was well prepared, thought it was like hokkien mee soup but it does have a western taste. Fresh ingredients. Topping it all, the Tiramisu was perfect.
Value: Medium priced, but not low cost.
Service: Friendly captain and other staff made our day.
