Relaxed Lunch Place!

The few times I came here I always ordered the ‘BLT‘ so for a change I went with their ‘Parma Ham Sandwich‘ today. The first great thing about this sandwich was the toasted Turkish bread it comes in which is crispy on the outside and soft but tasty on the inside. Second great thing was the actual parma ham with a intense and typical nutty flavor. I only wished they would have been a bit more generous with the ham as more than two thin slices would have been nice. I’m not too sure what cheese they used  but it’s light smokey aroma together with the bitter rocket rounded the whole sandwich up just nicely. I thought that was a really decent sandwich and might pop by here for lunch now more often hoping they’ll stack it up with more of that tasty ham eventually.

Surprising nice cafe find in International business park

Didn't expect to find such a beautiful cafe in a business park like this, usually business parks are filled with utilitarian foodcourts and fastfood. The landscaping at the alfresco dining area is very nice and cooling.

Their set meals (lunch) are value for money.

Nice place for lunch

VivaVox is located at level 1 of my office's building, so it is very convenient for us to have lunch there.

The cafe is bright with plenty of natural light shining in through the glass walls. I feel very comfortable and relax sitting in the cafe. For those who prefer non air conditioning, there are seats outside the cafe which over looks the greenery of IBP.

The staff in the cafe are very friendly. Once you sit down, they will patiently introduce the available set lunch, weekly special and soup of the day. Thumbs up for the great service. It is surprising that VivaVox does not have service charge or GST.

I had the daily set lunch which includes a main, a soft drink and dessert. The main dish for the day was Fish & Chips. I like the crispy batter of the fish and the meat was moist and soft. For dessert, it was chocolate eclair. Although the size of the eclair was small, it was very yummy.

The set lunch is very worth it for only $11.90nett. Plus, they serve iced/warm water FOC.

Nice find at Jurong East IBP

I was at Icon@IBP to look for a particular company, when I saw this cafe.  Its nice seats with white cushion was calling out to me, but I was in a hurry.  I told myself I have to try this place one day.  Sure enough the time comes and I was sitting comfortably in this cafe with a bunch of my friends.  We order some main course and was told to try out their mud pie which we did.  I had Grilled Chicken Thigh which was both juicy and flavourful, one of the better grilled chicken I have eaten so far.  It comes with some salad and fries as the side and the fries were nicely done as well.  To top it off, the mud pie (cookie and cream) is really good and is definitely the "must try" item in this cafe.
