Located in Icon @ IBP at International Business Park, Vivavox Cafe serves a variety of pizzas, pastas and sandwiches.
Vivavox Cafe is a fusion cafe withcosy ambience and polite service, serving a variety of pasta dishes, meatss, salads and coffee on the menu. Yes, this time, my foodhunt has taken me to the west of Singapore, a secluded, tranquil cafe nestled amidst the foliage of greens and a calm, man-made pond - right in the heart of a modern business district in Jurong area.
For drinks, I had an Iced Hazelnut Latte (SGD$5.00), slid smoothly on the throat in its icy form, soothing on a hot day. Taste-wise, it was sweet with detectable coffee flavour, but where was the hazelnut hint?
It took me a while to decide on what I wanted, with the scorching sun and my potential sore-throat on the way, plus I was sitting alfresco. The set lunch was tempting, but I decided not to take the risk, so I settled for the Smoked Salmon (SGD$17.50) - a fillet of well textured salmon that was nearly crispy on the edges, and the inside was done Norwegian-style, a straddling the thin lines between soft and springy texture, almost like sashimi. I was pleased with the recommendation by the service crew.

The few times I came here I always ordered the ‘BLT‘ so for a change I went with their ‘Parma Ham Sandwich‘ today. The first great thing about this sandwich was the toasted Turkish bread it comes in which is crispy on the outside and soft but tasty on the inside. Second great thing was the actual parma ham with a intense and typical nutty flavor. I only wished they would have been a bit more generous with the ham as more than two thin slices would have been nice. I’m not too sure what cheese they used but it’s light smokey aroma together with the bitter rocket rounded the whole sandwich up just nicely.
I thought that was a really decent sandwich and might pop by here for lunch now more often hoping they’ll stack it up with more of that tasty ham eventually.

Didn't expect to find such a beautiful cafe in a business park like this, usually business parks are filled with utilitarian foodcourts and fastfood. The landscaping at the alfresco dining area is very nice and cooling.
Their set meals (lunch) are value for money.
