Wow!!

Frankly, I didn't expect that deep within Sembawang, you will find such a wonderfulplace. I was craving for peranakan food and chanced upon this review and decided to go there... I will say go for their fusion peranakan food, don't waste it on the western dishes, i feel... The devil curry is shioookssss ttm, it was duper spicy but soooo gooddd... And the mango salad is also another must try... different types of veggies tossed in some sambal salad sauce. I will definitely go back again and again. The swirly hazy choco ends the dinner on a high and sweet note.

Good ambiance but lousy food.

The standard of the food has decreased drastically, comparing my second visit to the first visit 2 years back.

I ordered teriyaki smoked duck pizza and woody p***** fries (mixture of truffle, chili & cheese fries). The fries was way below my expectation. It tasted like MacDonald fries with some sprinkle of chili and cheese flakes, quite tasteless and bland.

We waited quite long for the pizza to come. Was almost done eating my fries, before the pizza came. To my dismay, the pizza was really bad too, considering the fact that it took awhile for them to prepare. It tasted exactly like those frozen pizza you bought from NTUC or any supermarket. I asked for Tabasco sauce for my pizza, and the server gave me a 'pinky-size' bottle of Tabasco sauce.

Was really disappointed with the overall dinning experience. Spend a total of $45, which is totally not worth the price that I paid for.

Was there on Friday (25 April). Ordered Woody p***** fries, Sambal Chicken with rice, and Samba dory fish with rice. The fries has no specialty at all, only sprinkled some cheese and spices, nothing special. Even McDonald fries taste better.

As for the sambal chicken and dory fish, those really sucks! Both are tasteless as the chicken and fish are not marinated! The rice is supposed to be some kind of fragrant rice but it is tasteless too. Both meals look good when it came but they really taste bad!!!! Really really BAD!!!!

My wife and I really regret coming to this place. We left without finishing the food, and it left about 80% of it cos we really can't finish the tasteless food. Don't waste your money in this restaurant, there are many other great food around in Sembawang / Yishun area.

Have fun with food as foreplay, and these items are easily bought at supermarkets. Just be mindful of allergies (gas and rashes are no fun) and be prepared to sacrifice the sheets
