Sister chain to sun moulin
Apr 20, 2009This is a sister chain of sun moulin @ isetan scotts. I discovered that their breads, mochi n similar to the ones @ sun moulin hence i went up to ask them n they told me that sun moulin n themselves belong to the same company.
Sun moulin's s/berry shortcake is quite yummy so i hope to get 1 frm here too. But, they do not carry it. They only have chocolate fudge, s/berry tart, mango mousse etc...
I bought the mango mousse for myself as they told me there's rum added to it. However, i could not detect any rum flavour. There's only mango syrup taste that is quite strong. The mousse is not too sweet and it is quite ''moussy''. It taste quite good, giving the light taste. Worth a tryI also recommend this place for

Chocolate fudge :)
Jun 2, 2009I went there quite early(ard 11.30am) n saw only 2 cakes availble-the mango mousse n the chocolate fudge. Of course i chose the latter as it was the last slice last n i suspect it was the one that's left over last nite since they told me the rest of the cake would be available later as they r still rushing out.
The chcolate fudge($3.8) really stood out. There's a plump n juicy-looking s/berry topped n white chocolate flakes decorated. This is really a good chocolate fudge as it's quite fudgey n chocolate is thick n sweet(yum***). It resembles the choco sticky frm sun moulin however, this is cheaper than that. This chocolate fudge would b a good alternative to the choco sticky n would appeals to anyone who loves chocolate fudge.
CHOICES of cakes here r quite limited.Must Tries
