Yan Ting has upped the ante in the Chinese restaurant scene in Singapore with the hiring of michelin starred Chef Mak.

Start with the trio of appetisers with the marinated jelly fish and crispy pork and suckling pig skin.

For something modern, the Pan Seared Crab Claw stuffed with Shrimp Mousse provides a lighter finish to the meaty crab claw.

I love my fish, and the Steamed Coral Trout with Yunnan Ham to give it a slight oomph.

For something thicker, go for the Baked Rack of Lamb with Chef's Signature Coffee Glaz.

For some soup for the soul try the Poached Greens in Superior Stock. Clear soup, with vegetables that provide a slightly bitter finish.

Well, as one can see, there is a wide range of both traditional and modern Chinese cuisine - hence something for families of all generations.
